TextReader operation

Settings

Setting dialog will be displayed if choosing menu item "Menu->Settings. There are 6 pages in dialog. Navigation through pages is carried out by means of right program key (Next). While pressing left program key, exit from dialog is carried out, all settings will be preserved. Call-in of settings dialog will stop reading of current document.

Voice settings. Voice settings of speech synthesis system are located on the first page.

Here you can choose any of the installed voices. Names of voices contain language (Russian - RUS or English - ENG), sampling frequency (16 kHz or 8 kHz) and compression method (uncompressed PCM or compressed ADPCM). Uncompressed voice with high sampling frequency will have better sounding , however occupies more disk space. Set up volume, speed and pitch at personal discretion.

Font settings. On the second page you may change font settings.

You may choose one of the 6 available samples and also set up color of background ( red, green and blue color components). For users convinience the current color and font will be displayed at the bottom of dialog.

Background setting. On the third page you may set up red, green or blue components of background color.

For convinience of users current background is displayed in the bottom of dialog.

Buttons settings. On the fourth page you may set up associations to buttons 0-9 of your mobile device.

You may set up action to each button of the list.

Status pane settings. Status pane settings are located on the fifth page.

Choose "Yes" for appropriate parameter (Time - current time, Pages - number of current page and total number of pages, Power - battery charge, Line - progress reading line, File - name of file), if you want this parameter to be displayed in status pane.

Text processing settings. Text processing settings are located on the last page.

You may hyphenate words (Divide), align text (Allign), pre-process text (Smart - removing of unnecessary line foldings and single alligning of paragraphs), or you may choose code table of a text (Windows-1251 or DOS-866), and also switch on/off self-locking.
