How to use Teller version 2.1

Open files

You can start file open dialog by pressing on main toolbar, or choosing menu item “Open…”. Total view of the dialog in on the following picture:

Folders are depicted as signs "folder". Each file has its own or standart icon. ZIP archives are depicted as folders and can include folder structure with any nesting. In other words ZIP-archives are similar system folders. In upper region of dialog there is a window of fast switch to higher level folders.

Folder can be selected by one time presure, files can be opened by double click.

When the dialog is opened the switch to current document is done automatically (folder with current document is opened, current document is selected).

ATTENTION: if current document was extracted from ZIP-archive, folder containing archive opens and archive is selected.

The only button in left lower corner let to delete selected file.

ATTENTION: it is impossible to select and delete files group; delete current file; delete folders; delete file fron ZIP-archive.

“OK” button in right upper corner closes dialog not opening file.

If user has selected file (double click) the dialog closes and file is automatically converted to text format not depending on its initial format. This process can take sometime (usually 1 sec.) The extracted text saves with the same name and extension “.auto” (files with such extension do not reflect in file open dialog). When document is closed the appropriate file with extension “.auto” is deleted (excepting Teller exit page) in order to save disk space.
